4 c cabbage 4 slices bacon 1/2 c bell pepper 1 c celery 1/2 c onion 1/2 to 1 c tomatoes 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper
Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and add the diced onions, bell pepper, celery, cabbage and tomatoes to the skillet. Toss well with a fork. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add bacon just before serving.
