Ingredients: 2 medium onions, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 tablespoon chili powder 2 cups catsup 1 cup cider or white vinegar 1/2 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup Worchestershire Sauce 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 2 tablespoon prepared mustard 1 tablespoon celery seeds, crushed (with hammer) 2 teaspoon cumin seed, crushed 2 tablespoon butter

Directions:Saute onion and garlic in oil until golden and tender, in a large sauce pan, about 10 minutes. Stir in chili powder and cook for 1 minute. Add all remaining ingredients except butter. Bring to boil. Lower heat. Simmer uncovered stirring often for 30 minutes, being careful not to burn. Remove from heat and stir in butter until it melts. Store in clean jars in the refrigerator. |
