1 lb butter, 1 1/2 C white sugar, barely 4 C flour (take out 1-2 tbsp) almond to taste

Directions:

Mix butter and sugar, slowly add flour. Add almond to taste. Cook at 325F for about 20 minutes or until light brown.
(roll out and cut into wedges, poke with fork)
