1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1 t. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 t. baking soda
3 t. baking powder
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter until creamy, then add sugar and mix until blended. Gradually add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well. Sift flour, soda and baking powder together and add to mixture in small
increments. Add milk and mix well. Pour batter into 2 round greased and floured cake pans. Bake @375 for 25-30 minutes.

Icing:

3 c. powdered sugar
3 T. cocoa
1/2 stick butter
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter (creamy)
salt

Melt butter in sauce pan, then add cocoa. Cook for 1 minute. Take off stove and add vanilla, peanut butter and dash of salt. Stir well and add powered sugar and milk until you have a spreading consistency. Frost cool cake.

This is Sarah and Meredith's favorite cake and is always requested for birthdays. It tastes like a Reese's peanut butter cup.
