Filling: 1 lb. hamburger, 1lb mild sausage 1 pkg mushrooms, 1 pkg spinach 2 Tbsp dried onion, Garlic salt to taste, pepper to taste. 2 cups mozzarella cheese, 2 cups cheddar cheese
Sauce: 32 oz. tomato sauce, 4 tsp. sugar, 2-3 gloves minced garlic, 1 tsp basil

Cook hamburger and sausage until well done. Add mushrooms, spinach, onion, garlic and pepper. cook well and cool slightly. Add grated cheeses. Mix well and place 1/4 cup in center of two Rhodes Texas rolls which have been thawed and kneaded together and rolled into a small sized tortilla shape. You can also use a recipe of bread and after the first rise divide into large golf balls. Pinch up bread into French roll style. Bake at 350 for about 20-30 minutes or until brown.
For sauce heat to a boil and then simmer. Serve over calzones.
