2 1/4 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. molasses
3 eggs
6 c. flour
2 T. baking soda
1 T. Cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening. Cool. Add sugar, molasses. and egg. Cream well. Add dry ingredients. Roll into balls. Roll in sugar. Bake at 350 for 8 - 10 minutes.
