1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 t. almond extract
salt
2 1/2 c. flour


Directions:
Directions:
Take 1/2 of dough and mix with red food coloring

Roll out one red and one white long rope
Roll together in only one direction
Shape into a candy cane.

Bake at 350 for 8 minutes.
