1 pkg. Hillshire Farms beef sausage, sliced
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. bacon drippings (or oil)
1 head cabbage, chopped
1 lb. baby carrots
2 lg. russet potatoes
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Melt bacon drippings in skillet, add onion, and saute until tender. Add sausage and saute lightly. Drain bacon drippings. Layer sliced potatoes, carrots, and top with chopped cabbage. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic, and parsley over all. Pour water over this, allowing the spices to mix in. Cover tightly and let simmer until potatoes and carrots are tender. Add more water as needed.
