6 pork chops
1 can cream of celery soup
1 TB. fat
1 1/4 c. milk
6 small potaoes sliced
1 tsp. salt
1 can green beans
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onions
6 slices of American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown chops on one side in hot fat. Place 1/2 potatoes in greased 9 x 13. Top with cheese. Add remaining potatoes. Place chops browned side up on potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook onions in skillet drippings, but do NOT brown. Add soup and milk. Heat through with onions, add green beans and pour over chops. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 350. Remove foil and bake additional 30 minutes.

This was the very first dinner Sam made for me when I was on bed rest. It is very good, and makes a lot.
