1 c butter 2 c chopped onion 2 c chopped celery 13 - 14 c bread crumbs 1 tsp poultry seasoning 2 well beaten eggs 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sage 1/2 tsp thyme 1/2 tsp pepper 3 1/2 c to 4 1/2 c chicken broth 1/2 to 1 tsp baking powder
Melt butter and saute onion and celery. Pour over bread crumbs. Add eggs and seasonings. Pour on broth. Grease a crockpot and pack dressing lightly in pot and cover. Cook on high for 45 minutes - an hour, or on low 4 - 8 hours.
