4 c self-rising flour 1/4 c Criscoİ shortening 2 c hot water ( more or less ) pinch of salt
Cut shortening into flour and salt until the mixture resembles cornmeal texture. Add hot water until the consistency will roll out easily on a floured surface. Pinch off golf ball size pieces and roll out. Heat on a lightly greased griddle. These may be made ahead and frozen.
