1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp milk
2 tsp light corn syrup
1/4 tsp almond extract
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together the powdered sugar and the milk until smooth. Beat in corn syrup and almond or vanilla extract until icing is smooth and glossy. If icing is too thick to work with, add a touch more corn syrup. Add in food coloring, if desired.

Personal Notes:
Use this icing to paint cookies or dip the cookie tops into bowls of colored icing. The colors will be vibrant. Let dry at room temperature. When dry, the cookies may be stacked for storage because the icing forms a hard shell.
