1 c. raisins 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. oatmeal 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. flour 1 tsp. soda 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. melted shortening, margarine or oil 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla
Cook raisins, water and sugar until thick. Mix remaining eight ingredients together. Divide crumb mixture in half and press one half into 9x13" pan. Spread raisin mixture over bottom. Spread remaining crumb mixture on top of raisins. Bake at 375º for 15 minutes.
