1 lb. fresh ground beef
1 med onion finely chopped
1 egg (slightly beaten)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c. cracker meal
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can water

Directions:
Directions:
Blend all ingredients together except soup and water. Shape into 2 or 3 hamburger steaks and roll or pat out to 1/2 in. thick. Place meat in preheated skillet (med high) and brown on both sides. When brown, pour the cream of mushroom mixed with 1/2 can water over meat, cover and simmer over low heat for 1 hour. I use an electric skillet for this.
