3 1/2 c. biscuit mix
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded


For Garlic Butter:
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. chives, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. each salt and black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cheese and biscuit mix in a bowl. Mix well. Add buttermilk and mix. Spoon ice cream scoop size biscuits onto a greased baking pan. Bake in preheated 450 oven for about 12 minutes. Garlic Butter: Melt butter in a saucepan, add all other ingredients, mix. Brush on top of biscuits after removing from oven.
