1 yellow cake mix
3/4 Cup brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 Cup butter
2 Cups nuts
2 Cups chopped dates
2 Tbs concentrated orange juice or juice of 1 orange
1 - 2 C of powdered sugar (thin glaze)

Directions:
Directions:
combine all ingredients (batter will be very thick) spread in a greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes ( do not overbake) Glaze while warm. Glaze is optional. Slice into bars.
