1 stick butter
1 c brown sugar
2 T corn syrup
1# French Bread or Challah, medium sliced
5 eggs
1 1/2 c half and half
1 t vanilla
1 t Grand Marnier (optional)
1/4 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, sugar and corn syrup in saucepan over moderate heat. Pour into 9X13 pan.

Lay bread in two rows, side by side, overlapping slices slightly.

Whisk eggs, half and half, vanilla, grand marnier and salt together. Pour over bread.

Cover and chill 8-24 hours.

Bake at 350* for approximately 40 minutes until puffy and brown.

Serve with additional maple syrup or orange flavored Karo Syrup.
