1 pound hamburger
1 1/2 cup rice
1 small onion
salt
pepper
1 large cabbage
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook hamburger. Cook rice according to package directions. Chop onion. Combine all together. Season with salt and pepper. Roll the mixture into the cooked cabbage leaves. Place cabbage rolls into a 9 x 13 baking pan. Pour 1 c. water in bottom of pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

This recipe came from a friend in Germany. It became Jennifer's favorite years later. Jim's sister, Barbara, modified it for her family by adding tomato sauce instead of water.
