1 c. warm water
2 1/3 to 3 T. dry yeast
6 c. milk not scalded
1/2 c. honey
2 T. salt
1/4 c. oil, lard or shortening
6 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put in large mixer and beat until it changes color and bubbles for 5 to 10 minutes. Then add yeast and 1 more cup flour, beat again until well beaten. Add 5 more cups flour, stir with spoon let sit for 10 minutes. Sprinkle 1 1/2 c. of flour on cloth. Scrap batter from bowl and knead with canvas or cloth, not hands for 5 to 10 minutes. Put back in pan and let rise until l it doubles in size. Put 1/2 c. flour on cloth again and knead well. Let rise again until doubles. Keep cool when rising, Knead down put in pan and let rise in pans. Cook in a 350 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
