1 c long grain rice1/4 c chopped onion
1 clove garlic - crushed
2 Tbsp cooking oil
2 Tbsp butter
2 1/2 c water
1 beef bouillon cube
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp crushed dried thyme
1/4 tsp crushed dried marjoram
1/4 tsp crushed dried sweet basil
1/4 tsp crushed dried tarragon

Directions:
Directions:
Brown rice with the onion and garlic in oil and butter in a heavy skillet. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, until rice is tender.
