3/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. finely chopped candied red or green cherries
1/3 c. finely chopped pecans
3/4 c. shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed 30 seconds. Add sugar. Beat until combined, scraping bowl. Beat in milk and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much flour as you can. Stir in remaining flour. Stir in cherries and pecans. Divide dough in half. Shape each half into an 8-inch long roll; roll in coconut. Wrap in plastic wrap or waxed paper. Chill for 2-24 hours or until firm enough to slice. Cut rolls into 1/4-inch slices. Place slices 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 oven for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool.
