3 cups sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup water
3/4 cup butter
2 tsp salt
Red Food Coloring

Directions:

Cook all ingredients to hard ball stage. Add Vanilla & Red Food coloring. Pour over 10 quarts of popped corn or 8 bags of microwave popcorn

These red popcorn balls were always a favorite at the 4th of July festivities in Bicknell when we were kids...thanks to LaWana. She was always very picky about getting out every single 'old maid' or unpopped kernel out of the popped corn
