3 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 2/3 c. sugar (heaping) 3/4 tsp. salt 12 oz. can warm beer 3 T. melted butter
Mix dry ingredients together. Stir in beer until just moistened. Pour into greased loaf pan. Pour melted butter over dough. Bake @ 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. The key is warm beer!
We call this "party" bread at school. :) This makes great gifts, and we sell tons of it at school. Just mix dry ingredients and put in zip loc or plastic bag. Add mixing directions and for adding beer and butter.
