2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup White Karo Syrup
1 Cup Water
1/2 tsp Salt

2 cups raw peanuts
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Cup Butter
1 1/2 tsp. Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, karo syrup water and salt together in large heavy saucepan. Bring to boil, Stirring well and boil one minute with lid on. Cook until hard ball stage. Add 2 cups raw peanuts and 1 tsp Vanilla. Stir well and put thermometer in candy and cook to 290 degrees or hard crack, stirring constantly. Add 1 cup butter cut in pieces to melt faster. Stir well and take off heat. Then add 1 1/2 tsp Soda. Stir well and pour on buttered Cookie Sheet. When it cools a little, stretch out and peel real thin.
