2 cup sugar 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1/2 cup margarine boil together 1 minute While very hot add 3 cup Oatmeal 1/2 cup peanut butter (if desired) 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup coconut (if desired) 1 cup chopped pecans (If desired)
Mix first four ingredients together in a large saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from stove, pour remaining ingredients into pan. Mix together quickly and drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper. Let sit until firm.
We made these often when we were kids and craving chocolate or something sweet.
