German Sweet Chocolate Pie Recipe

1/4 lb. butter
1 pkg. Baker's German Sweet Chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. angel flake coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
3 T. cornstarch
1/8 t. salt
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 10" unbaked crust

Melt choc. with butter over low heat. Stir till blended. Remove from heat, gradually blend in milk. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually blend in choc. mixture. Pour into pie shell. Mix in coconut and pecans; sprinkle over filling. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min. or until top is puffed.
