2 T. plain gelatin
4 T. cold water
4 c. milk
4 c. half and half
1/2 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Soften gelatin in cold water. Scald the milk and add softened gelatin, sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved. Cool. Add cream and vanilla. Pour into the ice cream freezer can.
