2 lbs of ground beef
1/2 - 11 oz. jar salsa (hot or medium)
1/2- 11 oz. jar salsa (mild)
1 packet of taco seasoning
4 oz. water
1/2 can of refried beans
chopped onion (optional)
grated cheddar cheese (or Mexican style)
shredded lettuce (optional for topping)
sour cream (optional for topping)
large flour tortillas

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef and drain. Add taco seasoning , water, salsa and beans. Mix well and simmer for just a bit.
Spray an 11x9 casserole dish with non stick cooking spray. Line dish with a layer of tortillas (cut to fit). Alternate with layers of meat mixture, onion, cheese, more tortillas. Continue layering until you have several layers and the mixture is all used up. Top layer should be cheese. Heat in oven for 20 minutes or so to heat through and melt cheese. Cut into squares and serve with toppings and some tortilla chips.
