1 8 oz. pkg. fettuccine noodles
Boiling salted water
6 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper
Whole or ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles in large pot of boiling salted water according to package directions. While noodles are cooking, melt butter in wide frying pan over high heat until butter is lightly browned. Add 1/2 cup of the cream and boil rapidly until slightly thickened. Reduce heat to medium. Add cooked, drained noodles to sauce and toss gently. Add 1/2 the cheese and 1/2 cup remaining cream. Toss gently. Repeat with remaining cream and cheese, toss again. Season with salt and pepper to taste and grate nutmeg over noodles or add about 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg to sauce. Serve immediately.
Makes 4-6 main course servings.
