3 Tbsp dark KAROŠ syrup
3 c sugar - white, or brown for more intense flavor
1 c heavy cream
1 1/2 c pecan halves
1 tsp real vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup and cream to a soft ball stage on a candy thermometer. Cool for 10 minutes. Add vanilla. Stir for 2 minutes, then add pecans and stir until the mixture begins to look dull. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto buttered aluminum foil.
