1 c, granulated sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. brown sugar
1 T. oleo

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl mix; granulated sugar, milk, flour and baking powder. Add dates and nuts. Put in greased 8 inch pan. Then pour brown sugar, 2 cups boiling water and oleo over the top of the batter and bake at 350 F. for about 20 minutes.
