2 cups self rising corn meal
1 cup flour
onion
2 tsp. baking powder
green pepper
2 eggs
6 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp. celery
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk

Mix ingredients together. Drop by spoon - Deep fry

I usually 1/2 the recipe - it makes a lot. Because of family taste I omit green pepper and celery. Use onion to your families liking.
My daddy was a good cook.
