1 cup yellow corn meal
1 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1 egg
oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Stir in milk and egg. Add enough oil to cover bottom of iron skillet ( if you don't have one.......... go get one! ) Place skillet in hot oven (375 degrees) Pour hot oil into cornbread mixture, mix, and pour mixture into hot skillet. Bake until done........
