3-3/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/8 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1-1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
3 eggs
2-1/4 c. pumpkin
2-1/2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs and pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients and add to liquid mixture. Mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and mix again. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet and bake in preheated 350 oven for 12-15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
