1 large head of cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. cooked rice
1 or 2 cans beef broth

Directions:
Directions:
Boil cabbage until leaves are wilted. Separate leaves. Mix all other ingredients and roll into egg sized balls. Place each on a cabbage leaf, wrap covering meat. Brown lightly in greased skillet. Pour beef broth over cabbage rolls, cover and simmer for 2 hours, adding more broth if needed. You may serve with tomato sauce or plain.
