4 ripe tomatoes, halved and seeded
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. marjoram, crushed
1/4 c. parsley, finely snipped
1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Put tomato halves, cut side up, in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with sugar. Mix oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and marjoram. Spoon an equal amount onto each tomato half. Sprinkle with parsley and cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
