2 1/2 c sugar
1 c water
1 c Karo© corn syrup
1 tsp any flavor*
10 drops food color

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven. Heat until 300º on a candy thermometer, remove from heat. Add flavor and color, carefully, then stir well. Pour onto pans that are sprinkled with powdered sugar.

* lemon, lime, orange, cherry, peppermint, and cinnamon are all good choices. Be careful when adding favor to hot mixture, it can bubble up and hurt you!
