4 mashed bananas
1 c. buttermilk (buttermilk can be made by mixing 1 T. vinegar with 1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 to 1 c. nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 tsp vanilla
8 oz. Cool Whip

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and place in Pyrex dish or loaf pan. Place in freezer for at least eight hours before serving.
