1 loaf French bread
1/2 c butter or margarine, melted
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1/2 c Italian salad dressing
1/2 c shredded cheese - mozzarella, colby- jack, or Italian blend pizza cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Cut bread into 1-inch-thick slices. Place bread slices on a cookie sheet.
Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. Add garlic, and Italian dressing to butter; mix well. Brush butter mixture on top of bread slices. Bake 13-15 minutes or until bread is crisp around edges. Sprinkle with cheese and bake another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.

This recipe came from a potluck lunch at church. It is very good with pasta dishes as well as grilled steaks or chops!
