Crust:
1-1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine

Filling:
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 tsp. almond extract
3/4 c. strawberry preserves

Glaze:
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 to 2 tsp. milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients for crust in food processor and process until crumbly. Press into greased and floured 9x9-inch pan. Bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. Meanwhile, place filling ingredients except for preserves in food processor and process until crumbly. When crust comes out of oven, spread preserves evenly over hot crust. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over preserves. Bake for additional 20-25 minutes and cool completely. Stir together ingredients for glaze and drizzle over cooled bars.

I've made this with a variety of different preserves. My favorite is a mixture of apricot and strawberry preserves.
