1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder, 1/2 cup raisins (could use dates), & 1/4 cup nuts. Separately in a baking dish, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 Tbsp butter & 1 1/2 cup HOT water.

For the pudding, mix dry ingredients, then add the milk.
In the baking dish mix the brown sugar, butter and hot water well. Pour the pudding mixture over liquid, it will spread by itself when baking. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 min.
