8 - 9 c. sliced cucumbers
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 1/2 T. salt

Liquid:
1 c. white vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the three vegetables. Cover with salt and let stand for 2 hours. Drain.
Mix the next ingredients and pour over the cucumbers, onions and peppers. Mix and store in the refrigerator.

Personal Notes:
Mom's notes say 5 lbs. = 2 batches. (Double the other ingredients) Fits in a 1/2 gallon jar. She also says to save and add the drained liquid. My question would be, then why drain it? You decide!
