1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup catsup
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 generous tsp. salt
1/8 generous tsp. pepper
small onion, grated
3/4 cup cracker crumbs; crushed as fine as your hand will crush

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a small loaf pan well. Press brown sugar in the bottom and cover carefully with the catsup.
Mix all of the other ingredients at once with a spoon. Shape and put in pan on the catsup mixture. Bake one hour in 350 oven. Turn upside down on platter to serve.
