1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
6 ripe bananas, mashed
1 c. chopped pecans
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add mashed bananas and chopped pecans. Combine dry ingredients and add a little at a time to banana mixture. Blend in vanilla. Bake in 2 or 3 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake to 45 to 50 minutes, or until nicely browned.
