1/3 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 to 1 c. Oat Flakes or similar cereal
1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together one at a time: margarine, sugars, egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and mix. Stir in nuts and Oat Flakes. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes.
