1 box vanilla wafers
4 large bananas thinly sliced

2 small boxes vanilla instant pudding
1 quart skim milk
8 ounces sour cream
3 cups cool whip separated
Toasted almonds (optional)

In a large bowl blend pudding, skim milk, sour cream and 1 ˝ cups cool whip together until smooth.

Make two layers:
Place a layer of vanilla wafers in an 11X7X2 inch glass dish
Next place a layer of bananas on top of the wafers
Pour half of pudding mixture over the bananas
Follow the same procedure for the second layer

Top with 1 ˝ cups of cool whip

Sprinkle with toasted almonds if desired

*This is a good “make-ahead” dessert and is really better the next day.
*The recipe may be doubled for a large crowd or make half of the recipe for three or four people.
