"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1 ten ounce package frozen peas, thawed 1 cup diced celery 1 cup chopped cauliflower ¼ cup diced green onion ½ cup sour cream 1 cup Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing
1 cup chopped cashews Crisp cooked bacon (crumbled)
Mix first six ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Add bacon and cashews when ready to serve.
Notes: I run hot water over the frozen peas before adding them to the salad. I use regular onion and half cashews (instead of chopped cashews). Add the cashews and bacon just before serving or they get soggy.
