5-5 1/2 cups flour
3 tbsp brown sugar
pinch salt
1 egg
vinegar
1 lb lard (leave out on counter to soften)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, brown sugar and salt until well blended. Add lard and blend thoroughly. Mix 1 egg in a cup, add 2 tbsp vinegar. Stir 3/4 cup cold water into egg mixture, then gradually add to the flour and lard mixture. Sometimes you do not require all of the liquid. Chill thoroughly. It can remain in the fridge for about a week, or can be frozen. The mixture makes about six dozen tart shells. Roll dough approx 1/8" thick.
