8 oz. pkg. fully cooked sausage patties
16 oz. package raisin bread,cubed
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cup half and half
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter
2 tbsp. maple syrup

Directions:

Brown sausage, drain fat and cut into bite sized pieces. Place bread cubes in an oiled 12 x 9-inch baking dish; top with sausage. Combine eggs, milk, half and half, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon and pour over bread and sausage. cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, pecans, butter and maple syrup. Drop by teaspoonfuls over egg mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

The Glenbrook South homecoming parade passes our house. While Lauren and Sean were in marching band, I'd host a big brunch to watch the parade. When I made this casserole I was always asked for the recipe.
