1 lb gound beef or turkey
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 15 1/2oz can kidney beens, undrained
1 16 oz can chopped tomatoes, do not drain
1/2 cup quick cooking rice
3 TBSP green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 tsp chili power
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water

Toppings:
grated cheese, to taste
corn chips, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook meat and onion until brown, then drain fat. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, rice, green pepper, chili powder, salt, garlic salt and water. Heat to boiling, then simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Top with cheese and serve over corn chips.
